DCID is a non-profit organization at Duke University that is somewhat different than other centers at Duke in that it is financially responsible for generating much of its own income. Therefore, DCID uses several traditional business tactics including print advertising and internet advertising to generate new program candidate leads and maintain alumni relations.

JMD Web Design was proud to lend a hand by helping DCID use the internet more efficiently to accomplish these goals. After several weeks of evaluation, JMD brought into focus a clearer picture of the many program and services offered by DCID and visually organized them so new website visitors not familiar with DCID could navigate through a revamped interface more easily.

JMD built an online registration system that allowed candidates across the globe to register 24 hours a day, and registrations dramatically increased almost immediately, putting tens of thousands of new dollars in the pipeline within 2 months of implementation.

We also began a search engine marketing campaign which has sent hundreds of new leads to the site over the last 9 months for a relatively tiny investment of pennies on the click.

JMD continues to offer services and support to DCID, and has earned a reputation in good standing within the Duke University community.
